Book lovers and aspiring marathon runners are invited to attend the launch of the sequel to Kerre Woodham’s 2008 bestseller at a special Paper Plus Books & Bubbles event on Sunday 3 October.
The release of Short Fat Chick in Paris will be celebrated in style with a chic launch function hosted by Kerre and co-author and celebrity trainer Gaz Brown, filled with hilarious tales about running and Kerre rediscovering her joie de vivre; creating an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment.
Short Fat Chick in Paris continues on from Kerre’s journey in Short Fat Chick to Marathon Runner – physically and mentally – to complete the New York Marathon, cope with a disappointing London Marathon attempt, and train for her 2010 challenge, the Paris Marathon.
The event will be held at the Floating Pavilion in the Auckland Viaduct Harbour on Sunday 3 October from 4pm – 6pm. Guests will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, delicious canapés and a Sothys goody bag. There will also be a $500 Verge clothing voucher, Asics running gear, and a New World hamper given away at the event.
