By now you will almost certainly be aware of the antics of Malcolm (Mal) Law, a veteran of many endurance events over the years. Last year he became the first person ever to run our 7 mainland Great Walks in the space of just 7 days.

In doing this he raised a massive $85,000 to help leukaemia sufferers. This year Mal is going back for more, running another 7 epic days in the hope of taking the fundraising total past the $250,000 mark.

Mal has dedicated 2 years of his life to this project and has entered his quest into an online competition being run by Steinlager Pure. At stake for the winner is a $10,000 cheque – if Mal comes out on top he will gift EVERY CENT of this money to the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation.

Right now he has a small lead but the entry that is in second place is closing in fast so he needs all the votes he can get.

So please, please, please join us in giving Mal your vote. It just takes a few clicks of a mouse and won’t cost you a cent – yet your vote could be the one that decides the contest. Voting closes tomorrow (30th September) so please don’t delay, vote today! Cast your vote at www.purefutures.co.nz/malcolm-law.aspx.

Mal's first event is the Twin Lakes Marathon situated in the beautiful Wanaka area. Event details are available at www.twinlakesmarathon.co.nz
