Wellington Based Westpac Transports a Patient who fell 8m through a ceiling in Wainuiomata

The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a Accident Patient from Wainuiomata this morning the 11 Oct 10 at 11:00.
The Helicopter responded to the Wainuiomata with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard.
The patient was a 65yr old male from Wainuiomata who had been working in the ceiling space of a local Church when he fell approxamittly 8m to the ground.
A Wellington Free Ambulance was already on the scene and had stabilized the patient. The helicopter was able to land in the car park of the church.
He was flown to Wellington Hospital where he is being assessed and treated for pelvic injuries.
