Housemart opens in Queenstown

Award-winning property management agency Housemart has opened its doors in Queenstown, bringing more than 40 years experience and New Zealand’s most awarded Property Management Team to the resort town.

Housemart Queenstown can now be found at Terrace Junction, Frankton Road where property management specialists Hayley Stevenson and Julie Johnston are on hand to manage, or help find the perfect rental property for people.

Owner, long-standing Queenstown resident and award-winning property manager Hayley Stevenson said she was looking forward to establishing a successful Housemart property management operation in Queenstown and that so far business had been “fantastic.”

“There is definitely a niche in the market for a Housemart Queenstown. We are well known here, particularly for our focus on customer service and ensuring we get the right people into the right houses,” she said.

“We aim to take the best possible care of our customer’s valuable investment, whether they live close by or on the other side of the world and we also work hard to make sure the needs of our tenants are properly met.”

The company’s first branch, Housemart Wanaka, will continue to operate over the Crown Range where it has been based for the past six years.  Housemart Wanaka was recently named a finalist in the Residential Property Management Agency of the Year category of the 2010 REINZ Awards for Excellence. 

Housemart’s Colleen Topping won the 2010 Residential Property Manager of the Year, beating her colleagues and fellow finalists Anne Moffat and Hayley Stevenson to the top position.  Ms Stevenson has previously twice won the top REINZ Property Management award while Anne has previously been named Finalist in the Property Manager of the Year category and Colleen as Support Person of the Year Runner Up.

Housemart currently manages the largest portfolio of rental properties in the Wanaka area and delivers unprecedented experience, local knowledge and systems to Kiwi and overseas property owners wanting to rent their properties out.
