Friends stick together. The Classic New Zealand Wine Trail’s friends are doing just that, by sticking the Trail’s logo on doors and windows the length and breadth of the Trail over the coming weeks.

Featuring the word ‘friend’, the sticker recognises that the operator strives to deliver a world class wine and food experience.

Travellers will see the sticker at hundreds of businesses along the 380km touring route, between Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough along SH2, through the Wairarapa and Wellington.

“Tourism operators are really getting behind the sticker. They realise its roadside visibility will open the door to visitors and ensure they have the best vine and dine experiences the Trail has to offer”, said Lucy Chambers, Marketing Manager of the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail.

The roll out of the sticker coincides with the unveiling of the Trail’s refreshed logo, giving the brand a contemporary look that’s more relevant for the touring route today. The new logo mimics the iconic grape symbol found on more than 100 road signs along the main highways of the Trail.

“Our new logo came from the desire to play off the existing road signs, while at the same time modernising its look”, said Ms Chambers.

The signage is supported by a comprehensive 50-page Trail Guide. Available free at Christchurch and Auckland airports, along with any i-SITE Visitor Centre along the Trail, it can now also be downloaded from the CNZWT website www.classicwinetrail.co.nz
