Queenstown Hosts First Twenty/20 Cricket Match At Queenstown Events Centre

QUEENSTOWN

The summer cricket season has kicked off at the Queenstown Events Centre and there’s a great line up of matches including a Queenstown first, a Twenty/20 game that’s perfect for those looking for an afternoon of fast paced action, through to the four day games the true cricket enthusiast loves.

All club cricket is underway and we have already seen a four day game between Otago and Northern Districts (who won the first innings points), played out to a draw under perfect Queenstown weather conditions between November 9 and 12.

The grass embankment area around the oval provides spectators with a fantastic view of the game, and provides the perfect location for a great day out with family and friends. Games to watch out for over the coming season include:
