For the first time in the world a chihuahua has become a police dog. Peach a 3kg dog has become a search and rescue dog and will be used for disasters and areas that police are unable to fit into.

Simon Goodall from Dog Guru says that any dog is capable of becoming a police dog and a chihuahua is as smart as any other dog in the world. It is not surprising that they have chosen this breed - they are very smart and with their small size makes sense to choose this type of dog.
