Since its establishment in 1951, the Berlin International Film Festival, whichtakes place in February, has become one of the leading international film festi-vals alongside Cannes and Venice.

Maryanne Redpath, a representative of the Festival, will be visiting New Zealandat the beginning of October and will be viewing films that may be eligible forscreening there.

If you would like Maryanne to view your film, first please ensure that it is eligiblefor one or all of the sections of the Berlin Film Festival by looking at the criteriaon their website www.berlinale.de.

Once you have established this, email Rachael Mansfield with the name of your project, its duration, the sections of the Berlin Festival forwhich the project is eligible, and the names of project team members. Viewingmaterials should be delivered to the NZFC.

Applications and viewing materials – including a viewing copy of the project -must be received by Monday 24 September. Please note that, depending on thenumber of submissions, it may not be possible for all films to be viewed duringMaryanne’s visit..
