Jet Boating in Auckland

New Tourism operator Auckland Adventure Jet hit the water this week, introducing a new thrill ride on Auckland Harbour, in the form of supercharged jet boat.  Jet Boats are renowned New Zealand invention, yet until now they were the domain of our famous rivers and lakes, Auckland Adventure Jet has a 24 seater boat purpose built for harbour conditons.

Departing from Pier 3d, beside Auckland's historic ferry terminal the high speed jet boat adventure involves a tour around Auckland’s spectacular harbour, so passengers will enjoy views of the city scape and harbour bridge from many angles.  As well as taking in the sights the adventure jet promises adrenalin pumping action, thrill seekers can expect 180 and 270 degree spins, brake stops, quick slides and sweeping fish tails.

The Auckland Adventure Jet boat was purpose built by KwikKraft in Rangiora, world leaders who've been responsible for harbour going jet boats exported to international ports. The jet boat is powered by twin turbocharged and supercharged engines capable of top speeds exceeding 50knots.  Auckland Adventure Jet's boat tours will depart on an hourly schedule, for 35-40 minutes.
