For over 25 years, 90-year-old former special needs teacher, Betty Hooper collected evidence relating to the treatment of children diagnosed with ADD, (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD, (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). In this 11.23 minute long video, made by Clare Swinney and filmed at the Whangarei Public Library on February the 1st and 2nd, she talks about some of what she has learnt and offers advise on how to treat hyperactivity.
Mrs Hooper will be at the Library until February the 15th.
