The Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights will travel to Queenstown tomorrow to meet the Otago Volts in the first of the domestic one-day playoffs on Sunday.

The defending champions qualified in fourth spot after yesterday's tight, five-run loss to the Central Stags, while the Otago Volts suffered a more pronounced defeat against the Canterbury Wizards to finish in third spot at the end of the eight rounds.

The Auckland Aces and Canterbury Wizards meet in the simultaneous 1v2 playoff on Sunday, with the loser of that match then playing the winner of the Volts-Knights match to decide who takes the remaining spot in the February 13 final.
