CANTERBURY

Backflips were the order of the day as members of Nitro Cricus took the opportunity to cool off yesterday in Akaroa before tonight’s sold out show in Christchurch.

Nitro Circus Live is an international aerial stunt show that is performing in New Zealand for the first time this year.

The show features 17 times X games medallist and new world number one FMX rider, Travis Pastrana and the entire Nitro Circus crew from the hit MTV show.

They have been performing to record breaking crowds throughout Australia and New Zealand. This is their first ever NZ tour. The show has mind-blowing tricks performed by the best athletes from around world in the spectacular live action sports show.

Black Cat Cruises Marketing Manager Allison Fleming said the crew really enjoyed their afternoon on the water and swimming with the dolphins and were quick to throw in some stunts off the main wharf in Akaroa.

“They were amazing – just throwing themselves off the wharf in all sorts of ways and they loved the chance to swim with the dolphins.”
