SOAR Print expands e-business capability with 'PDF2PRINT'.
In a determined bid to capture a meaningful slice of the growing demand for online print services, Auckland based Soar Print is expanding its online print capability with the introduction of an innovative new web-based full-colour service.
Called PDF2PRINT™, the service provides an easier, faster and cheaper solution for customers wanting full colour print jobs for business cards, letterheads, flyers, brochures or posters. It is the latest addition to Soar’s successful e-business web-based ordering and management system.
Accessed via www.pdf2print.co.nz PDF2PRINT™ is quite simple to use explains Soar Print Managing Director, Fred Soar. ‘All the customer has to do is upload their print-ready PDF, select the paper quality and quantity and pay on account or via credit card.
‘Aimed primarily at in-house and freelance desktop publishers and designers, PDF2PRINT™ automatically pre-flights the PDF, checking first for any errors that might be a problem in printing. Communication is really fast, ensuring that no time is wasted. If required a physical proof will be provided to the customer before the final print run.’
Mr Soar says PDF2PRINT™ differs from other online printing systems because every job is undertaken individually to ensure the customer the highest quality print job.
Fast delivery times are also guaranteed with same day or next day delivery for Auckland and no more than three days to destinations further afield in New Zealand. A track and trace system allows the customer to follow the precise path of the order.
Because the process is so simple and straightforward, Mr Soar says PDF2PRINT ™ products are very affordable – up to 25 per cent cheaper than conventional print jobs.
Quality is assured through the use of best practice technology provided by the company’s HP Indigo digital and Heidelberg Anicolor offset printers, ensuring that PDF2PRINT™ meets Soar Print’s demanding environmental policies.
Mr Soar says PDF2PRINT™ is the latest extension to Soar Print’s fast expanding e-business web-based ordering and management system which enables customers to load and store all their visual assets online, to allow version control, brand integrity and easy distribution. ‘Accessed with a secure password, more and more customers are finding our e-business the smart way to order their print and manage their artwork.’
Soar is committed to the Enviro-Mark scheme under Landcare research, having achieved the highest – Diamond - level. In 2010, Soar Print became the first corporate printing company in New Zealand to achieve carboNZeroCertTM certification.
‘As with every Soar Print product, this means that all paper stocks used in every PDF2PRINT job are from FSC or PEFC accredited forests, offset inks are vegetable based, and all waste materials are recycled,’ says Mr Soar.
While the PDF2PRINT™ will initially be limited to New Zealand, Soar Print intends extending the service to Australia and then to other countries as well.
