Absolute Insurance Increases Support

Absolute Insurance, corporate sponsors of Swimming New Zealand, have today announced
exciting changes to their sponsorship deal with Swimming New Zealand.

Already Absolute Insurance provides support to Swimming New Zealand at all levels of the
sport, including the SWIMSURE programme which provides a cash back incentive to clubs
for every insurance policy purchased through Absolute Insurance.

Today Absolute Insurance signed an enhanced sponsorship agreement with Swimming New
Zealand, including Absolute Insurance SWIMSURE Grants that will give swimming clubs
throughout the country the opportunity to apply for financial grants up to $10,000 per club.

“We really wanted to contribute more to swimming at the grass roots level of the sport” said
Director of Absolute Insurance, Jaynie Hudgell (nee Parkhouse).

As a former Commonwealth Games Gold medalist, Jaynie understands the contribution
clubs make to development of swimmers at all levels of the sport.

“We are excited to be able to do even more for swimming at the club level, where our future
champions are developed” she said.

CEO of Swimming New Zealand, Paul Veric, said the new sponsorship deal with Absolute
Insurance, including the Absolute Insurance SWIMSURE Grants, have the potential to assist
in the development and growth of the sport at all levels.

“Absolute Insurance has taken a long term approach in how they wish to help develop
swimming in New Zealand and they are to be applauded for this,” said Veric.

“By putting so much energy and support into the country’s swimming clubs they will help
those involved at this level of the sport increase the enjoyment and overall development of
both our future stars and our recreational swimmers.”
