Rugby World Cup 2011 will be the biggest sporting event to ever come to New Zealand’s shores and thanks to Heineken, 10 lucky consumers will get to experience the final.

Heineken, a Worldwide Partner and the Official Beer of Rugby World Cup 2011, is giving consumers the chance to win the ultimate Rugby World Cup 2011 Final experience. Just by purchasing 12 or 15 packs of Heineken five consumers, along with a friend each, could be among the illustrious few to attend the Rugby World Cup 2011 Final with full Heineken hospitality before, during and after the match.

The lucky winners and their friends will get to enjoy a birds-eye view of the Final while enjoying the best hospitality New Zealand has to offer and, of course, refreshing Heineken.

There is one trip for two to be won every month for five months.

When fans enter the prize draw, they also have the chance to win one of 20 Toshiba Home Entertainment packages valued at $8000 enabling them to create their own five-star match day setting in the comfort of their living room. Each package includes a Toshiba XL 700 LED 55” Television and a Toshiba Satellite A660 Laptop. There is one package to be won every week for the 20 weeks of the promotion.

There are two ways consumers can be in to win – they simply need to purchase a promotional 12 or 15 pack of Heineken, look for the unique code on the inside of the pack and text or enter it online at heineken.com/nz.

Alternatively, when consumers purchase three Heineken from selected Heineken bars nationwide they will also receive a unique code which can be entered in the same way.

Heineken brand manager, Jennie Macindoe expects the five-month long promotion to generate great consumer interest as the country builds towards the tournament kick off later this year on September 9th.

“We expect to see huge interest in this fantastic once in a lifetime Heineken experience. What a great opportunity to give everyday New Zealanders access to the pinnacle of world rugby right here in their own backyard.”
