New SsangYong dealership in Taupo

Wings and Wheels have opened a new boutique dealership in Taupo, for the SsangYong and Mitsubishi brands.

The Ingham Group’s Wings and Wheels dealership in Taupo has opened a dedicated site for the retail of SsangYong and Mitsubishi vehicles at 85 Heuheu Street, in the CBD.

SsangYong NZ’s General Manager Deon Cooper says it is great to see a dedicated SsangYong dealership situated in Taupo, handy to the SsangYong head office. “It is excellent to have a retail dealership for SsangYong right here, with our full range of SUV’s and utilities on display.”

“SsangYong fits well with many multi-franchise dealerships around the country and this arrangement with Mitsubishi is no different.”

Chris Drysdale, the Dealer Principal says it is great to be able to showcase the two brands – SsangYong and Mitsubishi - side by side on the one site. “The two brands are a perfect fit for our new boutique retail site and complement each other well.”

“We are really excited about the future of SsangYong, and have been getting plenty of enquiries, especially with the Auto Korando coming out soon,” said Mr Drysdale.
