Harcourts acknowledged the successes of its top performing Northern Region Sales Consultants in the Harcourts End of Year Awards 2010/11 ceremony held at Auckland’s Pullman Hotel on Monday, 2
nd May.

There were 22 awards received by individuals and offices which cover the areas from Cape Reinga to the Bombay Hills. Albany Sales Consultant Matty Ma took the title of Number One Sales Consultant in Harcourts’ Northern region for the fifth year running.

“At Harcourts it is crucial to recognise and celebrate our consultants’ achievements who tirelessly deliver outstanding results for their clients,” says Harcourts Group NZ CEO Hayden Duncan.

Mrs Ma contributed to her success of being Number One Sales Consultant for the Northern Region with an impressive $225 million dollars in settled sales.

“Matty’s outstanding results have contributed to the Harcourts Northern region result of over $2.5 billion dollars in sales in the last financial year thanks to the high level achievements of Sales Consultants in the Northern Region. The very beginning of this financial year has been much stronger than last year, and we are forecasting strong growth in the months ahead,” Mr Duncan said.

Originally from China, Ma knows that to better or continue her run of success she will have to out perform herself.

“I want to continue giving my clients professional advice to assist them with their goals within the real estate market.”

“There are always opportunities for the big players, and I would say it’s looking brighter in real estate, so it’s a great time to put money back into the real estate market again. It’s a new race,” Ma said.

In 2009/10 Ma was named No. 3 in Harcourt’s New Zealand and 4th in Harcourts Group International and this year’s award is her fifth in her 13 year career in the real estate industry. Other awards for top ranking Harcourts sales consultants were won by second place getter Charlotte Marshall from Harcourts Eden/Epsom and in third place was Anton Huang from Harcourts Howick, whose colleagues also ranked in the Top Exclusive Listings category.

Other 2010/11 winners for the region, were Andrew Bruce from Harcourts Takapuna taking out Top Commercial Sales Consultant for the second year running. Multiple award winner Lynn Lockhart from Papakura Rural was again named Top Rural Sales Consultant for the third year running.

Mike Robson, from successful Harcourts Eden/Epsom office, was named Harcourts’ Northern Region Rising Star of 2010/11, and Lizzie Simanke from Harcourts Milford who won the inaugural award for Top Property Manager in Harcourts’ Northern Region.

The Northern awards were the first of four regional award ceremonies held around the country this week ahead of the Harcourts Group Annual Conference held in Rotorua 23-25 of May.
