Update - Online services unavailable

Online services on all MED websites are still unavailable due to an unexpected hardware issue on a piece of equipment housed in our data centre. During this time clients will not be able to access any of our online services.

The affected websites include:

  • Companies Office*;
  • Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR)**;
  • Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR);
  • G2B;
  • Motor Vehicle Traders Register;
  • Societies and Trusts;
  • Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ);
  • Consumer Affairs;
  • Insolvency and Trustee Service;
  • Radio Spectrum Management (RSM);
  • New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals (NZPAM);
  • VolunteerNet and;
  • Emissions Trading Register (NZEUR)

An update will be available on our website or via the Companies Office facebook and twitter accounts from NZST10.00am on Thursday the 19th of May.

We are working to make the websites available as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

*Applications due to expire today, will be expired when the website becomes available. You will not be penalised for this expiry, and the Companies Office, will work on a solution with you to begin or extend your application. This will be at no cost to you.

When the website becomes available, if you require assistance with an expired task or application, please contact us via email.

**If, as a result of this outage, a secured party group has not been able to renew a financing statement on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) that was due to expire today, please notify us via email or call us on 0508 777 746 with the financing statement details. The Registrar of Personal Property Securities is able to restore expired financing statements in certain circumstances.
