With the countdown on to the world’s largest and most prestigious advertising festival, the event’s official New Zealand representative has launched a local website for accessing event news and information.
Fairfax Media has launched www.stuff.co.nz/nzcannes for all you need to know about the 2011 Cannes International Festival of Creativity.
What’s more, Fairfax Media is sending a journalist, William Mace, to report exclusively for them from the festival in Cannes.
Sandra King, Group Sales & Marketing Director says, “Our reporter will have an all-access pass and get right in the action - interviewing the speakers and award winners to glean the information kiwis want to know. He will also follow our Young Lions team as they compete in the Young Print Lions competition and will report back on their experiences.”
Local and international news content and winners’ information will be filed onto this site under the ‘News’ section direct from Cannes. Photos and images will also be uploaded in the ‘Gallery’ throughout the festival.
Other information at www.stuff.co.nz/nzcannes includes the festival key dates and history, and biography information on the NZ Jury Panel members. The Young Lions section of the site is where the recent winners and finalists of the Young Print Lions competition are detailed.
So check it out and stay tuned to www.stuff.co.nz/nzcannes throughout the Festival to get news and information direct from Cannes.
