Tasman Roads Reopen

All roads in Tasman are open after the weekend’s heavy rain. There is still minor surface flooding in some places and various roads around Waimea and Tasman village have small slips.

Road advisory signs are in place in affected areas. However all motorists are advised to drive with caution as work will be continuing in a number of areas.

Stafford Drive, formerly the Coastal Highway, in Ruby Bay reopened last night after the closure caused by the bluffs at the western end collapsing Saturday afternoon due to the heavy rain.
