Conserve Water - Dovedale-Neudorf Rural Water Supply

Dovedale water scheme users are asked to conserve water. The Dovedale water scheme is currently out of action due to a break in the main pipe.

The main supply pipe to the scheme has fractured within the Dove River as a result of the flooding over the weekend. Contractors are working to restore the flow with repairs expected to be finalised by midday today (Tuesday 21 June).

As the scheme is managed through restrictors all users on the scheme have tanks that should hold enough water for the period in question. If any users are concerned that their water supply will be immediately threatened they should ring the Council on 03 543 8400.
