Some of the world’s oldest fossils are currently on display at the Rotorua Museum.

From the gigantic claw of the Colossus Cave Bear to the Woolly Mammoth’s tooth, this exhibition is a rare opportunity to enjoy some of Rick Williams’ amazing fossils as part of the Collectors in the Community programme.

Bring the whole family to see the Hadrosaur egg, the Mosasaur jaw, the breathtaking Megalodon Shark Tooth, the 520 million year old Trilobite and more.

Entry to the exhibition is included with admission to the Museum, which is free for Rotorua residents with proof of residency.

Rick Williams' fossil display is available for viewing at the museum until 20 July.

Love collecting rocks and fossils or want to start? There is a great local Rotorua Rock, Mineral and Fossil Club that welcomes new and prospective members to their exciting monthly meetings.
