Glen Eden and Glen Warren Reserves Reopens
Glen Eden and Glen Warren Reserves are soon set to re-open to the public after being closed since March 2010 for the harvesting of 12 ha of mature pine trees.
Council’s contractor will undertake the final stage of work including root raking and tidying on both Reserves from today, Thursday 7 July. This work is expected to be complete by Friday 15 July when the Reserves will be re-opened to public.
Council property manager Dougall McIntyre explained: “Council has considered a number of options to replant the Reserve in consultation with the community. This work will take place at a later stage”.
