The Invercargill Airport is launching a Customer Satisfaction Survey on its website to engage with people regarding their views of the airport.

Invercargill Airport General Manager Chloe Scala said the priority was to take a community first approach with their Airport Development Project.

“The aim of the survey is to find out what is Southland’s impression of the airport.

“We need to see if the airport adequately meets the needs of the people who use it or if extra facilities and services are required,” Ms Scala said.

The Customer Satisfaction Survey will be online at www.invercargillairport.co.nz from July 14 to July 28, giving local residents an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas directly with airport management.

“The survey will take less than five minutes to complete and will provide an additional discretionary section for those who want to expand their opinions further.”

Ms Scala said the survey was being conducted as part of the airport’s development project which would focus on determining the airport’s future requirements and the look and feel of the terminal building.

Questions will be based on all aspects of the airport from road signage, taxi and rental car options through to terminal building services.

“We want to involve the community – their perceptions, needs and wants are important to us.

“We will take everyone’s opinions on board very seriously for future planning.

“Southlanders need to feel proud of their airport and the facilities and services it offers,” Ms Scala said.

To encourage people to take part in the survey, the airport is giving away a spot prize of a $100 dinner voucher for Duo Restaurant, to one lucky participant.
