BAY OF PLENTY

Leading Bay of Plenty internet service provider, EOL has appointed two new technicians to manage on-going company growth.

Terry Coles, Managing Director of EOL, says the company, which now employees eight people, is growing at a healthy pace thanks to a combination of their independent network – which is faster and more reliable – and their high level of customer service.

“With the current growth we’ve been experiencing we require more expertise to maintain the on-going building of our network and to carry out installations for our new customers,” says Coles.

Darin Morresey has been appointed as a Field Engineer for EOL. His key responsibilities will be building and maintaining EOL’s many repeaters throughout the Bay and installing wireless broadband for customers.

“Darin will be a great asset to the team. He is highly experienced in the ICT industry having previously worked as business analyst for Telecom on the national fault work management project.”

Talor Green is the second appointment for EOL. With a Diploma in Information Communication Technologies, Green’s role as a network engineer will initially include documenting the network and field installations.

Before joining EOL, Green worked for the Taupo District Council on their IT helpdesk and for another small ISP. He was attracted to working for EOL because of its “Google-like” qualities – being highly innovative and on the “verge of big things”.

EOL (Enternet Online Limited) has consistently been ranked one of the country’s top ISPs for customer service by Consumer Magazine and one of the fastest by Speedtest.net.

It’s this reputation that helps EOL attract and retain great people.

EOL has been running for 16 years and was the first ISP in Tauranga when it was established in 1995. The company has 70 transmission sites and 200 access points from Waihi along the Western Bay coastline to Matata, extending inland for 15km. This gives EOL 90 per cent coverage in the Western Bay of Plenty region.
