2degrees is expanding its retail presence on Friday with the launch of two new stores in Auckland’s CBD.

The stores, located at 34 Queen Street and at the Civic Building on Wellesley Street, will open at 8:30am on Friday 29 July, each with special offers on handsets (on Friday only), including 50 Nokia 1280 handsets (‘Good to Go’, including a SIM card loaded with $5 credit) for only $2 each and 50 LG U 285 handsets for only $22 each.

Customers who purchase a 2degrees top up of up to $100 at one of the new stores on Friday or Saturday will receive a free top up of equal value.

More special deals and giveaways will also be available.

“With some great deals up for grabs, you’ll need to get there early as we get queues which stretch right down the road,” says Chief Sales Officer for 2degrees, Mark Cleary.

The opening of the two 2degrees stores in Auckland’s CBD have created 10 new jobs.
“We’re proud to be opening our first stores in Auckland’s CBD,” added Mr Cleary. “We’ve created more than 100 new jobs in 2degrees stores over the past six months – and we’ve still got about 20 more stores to come this year.”
