Scratch 'n' Win for Variety at The Warehouse

Warehouse customers can now try their luck with a Scratch ‘n’ Win card and help give a Kiwi kid their very own bike.

From 5 August to 2 September cards will be available in store for $2, with all money raised going to Variety – The Children’s Charity's Kids on the Move programme.

“Variety’s annual Bikes for Kids tour is coming up in November. By buying a Scratch ‘n’ Win card for only $2, you will be helping to give 450 deserving or disadvantaged Kiwi kids the freedom and independence of riding a bike,” says Lorraine Taylor, CEO, Variety – The Children’s Charity. “For many of these children, it will be their first bike ever. Riding a bicycle is a childhood rite of passage and we believe that every child is special and deserves to experience the joy of having a bike.”

There are more than $48,000 worth of prizes to be won including a Ford Fiesta LX Manual valued at $23,990, a weekend’s accommodation at the Hilton Lake Taupo, a Motorola smart phone, Raleigh bikes, a Toro mower, $500 Westfield gift voucher, $100 TelstraClear vouchers, EVENT cinema vouchers, McDonald’s meal vouchers, Variety cookbooks, Cadbury Crunchie bars and a year’s subscription to TV Guide.

“This is a fun and easy way to help Kiwi kids, so we encourage everyone to visit The Warehouse stores nationwide and support this campaign,” says Lorraine. “Hopefully you’ll walk away with one of the prizes, but even if you don’t, you’ll have helped to create a brighter future for a Kiwi kid.”
