Fatal Crash SH2 Te Puna 4th August 2011

At about 6.05pm on Thursday 4 August 2011 Tauranga Police attended a fatal crash on State Highway 2, Te Puna.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle travelling north towards Katikati has collided with a Nissan Maxima at the intersection of SH2 and Te Mete Road.

The rider of the Harley Davidson died at the scene. The two teenage occupants of the Nissan Maxima were uninjured.

Police Crash Analysts attended the scene and enquiries are continuing.

Police are seeking any other witnesses to the crash and ask they contact the Tauranga South Police Station.
