SKOPE named Coca Cola Amatil Supplier of the Year

Christchurch based heating and commercial refrigeration company SKOPE Industries Limited has claimed two prestigious international awards. The company was announced as the overall winner in the 2011 Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) Australian Supplier of the Year Award as well as winner in the Trade Equipment Supplier of the Year category at a gala event in Sydney last Thursday evening.

SKOPE Managing Director Guy Stewart says it is an honour and a privilege for the company to be recognised by such a key customer in this way and particularly pleasing his father (and company founder), Robert Stewart was present at the occasion.

“The public recognition by CCA through these awards is extremely significant for SKOPE. CCA’s leadership during our long-standing relationship - almost 40 years - has supported our innovation with refrigeration design and energy reduction,” he says.

“Historically SKOPE has been an early adopter of technology and responsive to our customers demand for innovation - not only in the corporate beverage market, but also in food service refrigeration and heating markets. After recent work by the SKOPE design team, we now have the lowest energy glass two-door merchandiser in the Coca-Cola system, globally.”

SKOPE is CCA’s largest supplier of commercial refrigeration products in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

SKOPE has previously been recognised by CCA, being runner up for innovation in the inaugural Coca-Cola Amatil Australia Supplier of the Year Awards, in recognition for the work undertaken for Coca-Cola’s merchandising fleet. This year SKOPE also won the Coca-Cola New Zealand Supplier of the Year Award.
