Woodville Upgrade

Conceptual drawings of the upgrade to the Woodville “Main Street” will be presented to a public road show in 4-6 weeks time.

Construction drawings are being drawn as part of the process by outside consultants. We wish to improve the storm water system at the same time; however, existing services provided by other utility companies will present further challenges.

It was felt that it would be best to move the starting date of the upgrade to early February 2012, so that businesses will not be inconvenienced during the Rugby World Cup, the lead up to Christmas and the holiday period in January.

Council is committed to ensuring that the “Main Street” upgrade of Woodville will be to the satisfaction of the Tararua Community.
