The People’s Republic of V is pleased to announce the Panel of Judges who will be deciding on five lucky finalists to win the ultimate experience - $100K and a pallet of V.

On November 5, Chris Stapp and Matt Heath from ‘The Devil Dared Me To’ will join ALT TV’s Oliver Driver along with Noelle McCarthy, ZM host Jacqui Jensen and top New Zealand Actress Emily Barclay, at a secret location in Auckland. There they will have the difficult task of wading through piles of entries; watching videos, reading ideas and hearing stories from hundreds of hopeful entrants.

Since the launch of the People’s Republic of V on October 1st, people from all over New Zealand have been posting their ideas on what they would do with $100K and a pallet of V on www.vrepublic.co.nz. The site, centered on social networking site www.bebo.com , has been hugely popular with an average of four people joining up per minute - and that was only in the first two days! Plus there are some crazy, wacky ideas as a result.

Once the judging panel has decided on the five finalists, V is giving the power back to the people; they get to vote to pick the final winner!

There’s still time to enter so why not give it a go. Here are some ideas which might catch the judge’s eyes: Make a trailer for Matt and Stapp’s feature film ‘the Devil Dared Me To’, with $100K and blow up the pallet V! On Jacqui’s radio show she gets to interview rock stars from around the world. V could pay for 20 people to pilot a

party plane to see their favourite band live in concert - anywhere in the world, with Jacqui crossing live back to the studio in New Zealand. While in the air stop off at a few exotic locations and visit some endangered animal sanctuaries in Africa with Emily; she’s not only an award winning actress but also an animal advocate. To top if off why not take local journalist and TV host Noelle McCarthy for high tea with U2 in their home country Ireland and maybe a jam session afterwards!

Ideas must be submitted via www.vrepublic.co.nz  by 31 October.

Whether it’s an unforgettable gig, an incredible event or some kind of amazing road trip, suggest it, vote for it and enjoy it – and V will foot the bill.
