Gisborne to host warm-up match

A three-day warm-up match has been added to Zimbabwe’s tour of New Zealand.

Harry Barker Reserve in Gisborne will host the match between Zimbabwe and a New Zealand XI commencing on 21 January 2012.

New Zealand Cricket Operations Manager Tim Murdoch said: “New Zealand Cricket are delighted to offer this rare opportunity to host International cricket to the Poverty Bay Association.

“We are confident that the Association and cricket followers in Gisborne will support the teams and this match enthusiastically.”

Following the warm-up fixture Zimbabwe will play one Test, three One Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals in The National Bank Series.
