Modern, “powerfully simple” enterprise resource planning solution delivers true business value to customers
Microsoft New Zealand has today announced the availability of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to New Zealand customers and partners.
The latest version of Microsoft's Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution will provide New Zealand businesses with greater flexibility and control of the software that organises their business, leading to better use of resources.
“Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is a new generation of business applications. It’s an ERP solution that helps companies be more agile, simplify decision-making and succeed in any environment,” says Microsoft's Dynamics Business Group Lead Lindsay Zwart.
The flexible architecture of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 includes built-in capabilities for multiple industries and geographic regions, allowing users to make quick and easy changes to processes and personal experiences according to the shifting needs of their business.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012's new RoleTailored experience gives people across the company the information they need to do the job, supporting more than 40 roles within an organisation in both commercial businesses and public sector organisations. The product's Unified Natural Models also serve as a library of business processes reflecting real-world situations.
The platform also offers seamless integration with other Microsoft productivity tools used in every day businesses, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, while its contextual business intelligence helps users make informed decisions.
"Microsoft's Dynamics AX 2012 ERP solution presents a great opportunity for our customers who all have unique requirements in their businesses. The flexibility and integration with other Microsoft products enables AX 2012 to meet their needs without complex modifications being required to the core product," says Duncan Cox, Adaptable Solutions Managing Director.
Features such as its graphical workflow editor, organisation model, budgetary control and the enhanced financial dimension framework reduce organisational risk and create greater flexibility for businesses running the software.
"As companies recognise the limitations of legacy ERP solutions to meet their their ever-changing business needs, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 offers them a highly scalable, yet cost-effective, solution for that gives them a competitive edge. Our customers want these benefits for their organisations and are already starting to make the move to AX 2012," says Duncan.
To help businesses transition to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 more easily, Microsoft will offer a range of incentives. The first of those is a 50 percent license discount on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for eligible customers with valid Lawson S3 or M3 licenses who make the switch. In addition, qualifying partners can receive a revenue credit for each Lawson-certified consultant that obtains Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 certification. These offers are valid until 22 June 2012.
