Frank Casey announces winner of male model competition

Following a six month search Frank Casey has announced Wipani Amaru from Onehunga High School as the winner of his New Face of Franky competition.

Auckland-based Amaru, has taken out his opposition in the national male model search that was launched earlier this year to celebrate the 2011 school ball season.

“It was a hard decision to make but we are really happy with our choice, Wipani is a great young man with a great look.” says Frank Casey, Founder and Director of Frank Casey Formal Suit Hire. “I think he will represent the Franky brand really well for next year’s ball season.”

As the Face of Franky, Wipani is the new suit model for the Frank Casey school ball range and will feature as the leading man in all next year’s school ball promotions.

“We launched the model search as a way to get young guys excited about dressing up and putting on a suit,” says Casey. “With the overwhelming number of entries I think we succeeded. The guys really got into it, striking their poses in front of the camera and getting all their friends and family to vote for them to be finalists.”

Due to massive number of entries received, Frank Casey has also selected Tom Reesby from Auckland and Max Hay from Hamilton as runners up in the competition. Both will feature as Aramru’s wingmen in the photo shoots.
