Athletics NZ Name Team for Chiba Ekiden International Relay

Athletics New Zealand has announced the team selected to compete in the International Chiba Ekiden Relay in Japan on 23 November.
Thirteen international teams have been invited to the prestigious event and Athletics New Zealand have named a team with a mixture of experience and youth to compete against the world’s top distance running nations.
The race is over the traditional marathon distance of 42.195 km, with each of the six team members (three men and three women) running legs between 5km and 10km.

- Fiona Crombie Canterbury
- Lisa Robertson Auckland
Travelling reserves:
- Stephen Lett Auckland
- Nicki McFadzien Canterbury
The team will be led by Manager Graham Tattersall and Assistant Manager Grant McLean.
Medical support will be provided by Jane Knobloch.
