City Libraries Book Sale continues through Labour Weekend

Due to the massive response to the Invercargill Library’s Big Book Sale, the library has decided to extend the sale through to Tuesday, October 25.

“We have a vast variety of books and other items that need new homes.

“The idea behind this sale is to create room for the ever expanding collection of books.

“Our mission as an organisation is to ensure that we are providing books and other items that are relevant and that are wanted by our community, therefore every now and then we have a big spring clean out,” outreach Librarian Kirsty Graham said.

Everyone is welcome to visit the library and have a browse as there was many fabulous “wee treasures” for all readers.
