Thank You To The Marlborough Community

I’m proud of the great response from our community to the Rugby World Cup celebrations – it’s been a pleasure for us to play hosts to the Russian team. I’d like to thank everyone who showed our visitors the warm, welcoming face of Marlborough; the organisers and the official volunteers, the children and the business community.

Thanks for embracing the opportunity to take part, whether it was to learn a few words of welcome, drive a bus or pick up the litter from Lansdowne Park, plant a commemorative tree or host a business VIP - or simply turn out to cheer our visitors.
