Popular New Zealand children’s author and musician Craig Smith is returning to Invercargill for one morning show only.

Smith will perform a concert, full of fun for the whole family with singing, dancing and all sorts of noise making at the Invercargill Public Library in the Children’s’ Department on Thursday, November 17 at 10am.

“Because of his busy schedule with touring New Zealand and Australia he has not been in to visit for almost a year so we are thrilled to have him back even if it is only for one day,” Outreach Librarian Kirsty Graham said.

Miss Graham said children and their families are invited to come along to this concert and join in the fun.

“Craig is a fabulous entertainer and really knows his audience. After winning the 2009 Children’s Choice Award at the New Zealand Post Children’s Book Awards and selling 300,000 copies of his book ‘Wonky Donkey’ internationally, Craig has achieved much acclaim and is fast becoming an international success.”

“We would love people to bring their copies of the books to be signed and there will be copies for sale on the day.”
