Dog owners notified

OWNERS of nearly 250 unregistered dogs within the Manawatu District Council’s region are facing possible infringement fines of $300.

The final cut-off date for annual dog fees was tiday (November 16) and council is now in the process of sending out the infringement notices.

If payment is not made, then the animals may be uplifted from properties and taken to the pound.
