Highlanders To Tackle Beach Clean-Ups

The Highlanders 2012 squad will be lending a hand with Keep Dunedin Beautiful’s beach clean-up of four local beauty spots between 1 – 3 pm on Monday 5 December.

This is a community project aimed at getting the beaches ready for locals and visitors to enjoy over the summer holidays.

The Highlanders will be on hand to help KDB members clean St Kilda Beach and John Wilson Ocean Drive.

Between them they’ll also spruce up Tomahawk and Blackhead beaches while another group will assist some Brighton Surf Life Saving Club members at the popular family Brighton Beach.
