PAPAKURA

The eagerly anticipated PAK’nSAVE supermarket in Papakura is to open to the public on Tuesday 29 November 2011. The store, located at 331 – 345 Great South Road, is well positioned to meet the food and grocery needs of the Papakura community.

Foodstuffs (Auckland) Ltd Acting General Manager Property Strategy Tony Catton says, “We are delighted to be opening this store in the Papakura/Takanini community. We have endeavoured to bring PAK’nSAVE to this community for many years; so we are very excited that we can now bring PAK’nSAVE’s policy of New Zealand’s lowest prices and give them a choice about where they shop.”

Clark Abel, the owner/operator of the store says, “The supermarket is a significant investment in the Papakura community; and it is great that we can provide 200 new jobs for local people. The new store looks amazing and I can’t wait to open the doors on Tuesday 29 November.”

The 6,210m2 PAK’nSAVE will have 265 car parks, of which 156 are under cover.

The store will be officially opened by His Worship Len Brown, the Mayor of Auckland, at 8.15am, Tuesday 29 November 2011. All are invited to come along and enjoy the festivities, and experience PAK’nSAVE’s policy of New Zealand’s lowest food prices.
