Site applications for 2012 New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays have surpassed organiser’s expectations once again with a 13% increase on 2011 applications. To date, 88% of all agricultural sites have been sold, well ahead of previous years. The Rural Living area, which comprises 8% of the agribusiness event, has also seen higher demand, putting organisers in good stead to once again sell out well in advance of the June exhibition.

Businesses are securing more space at Fieldays to fully showcase their products and services, demonstrating the value and significance of Fieldays in the agriculture sector. Events Manager, Vanessa Richmond says, “With exhibitors requiring more space, it’s clear businesses involved in agriculture realise the immense benefits of a presence at Fieldays. After 43 Fieldays it’s also critical to remain relevant to visitors; we can only achieve this by continually driving the rural sector’s latest technology and topics.”

‘The Changing Face of Farming’ is the 2012 Premier Feature, focusing on the various land ownership models and the change in farming approaches of New Zealanders. The theme incorporates the trending shift from traditional family owned farms and in turn the effects on the rural landscape. Situated in the heart of Fieldays, the Premier Feature exhibition area will take on a new look with a dedicated seminar area.

Other changes at New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays include a larger International Exhibition area within the Mystery Creek Pavilion to provide space for more exhibiting international businesses. The popular Kiwi’s Best marquee will also increase in size, with primary production celebrated as an important part of agriculture.

Companies are still able to apply for the remaining Fieldays sites and are now assigned in order of submission. Bookings can be made by visiting www.fieldays.co.nz/applicationform , phoning 07 843 4499 or emailing fieldays@fieldays.co.nz.

New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays will be held 13-16 June 2012 at Mystery Creek Events Centre, 10 minutes south of Hamilton. The event is proudly supported by strategic partners - ANZ and the University of Waikato.
