Kerbside Refuse and Recycling Collections

Kerbside refuse and recycling collections are as normal. There are no changes to your collection day during the Christmas / New Year holiday period.

Please have your rubbish and recycling out before 7.30am.

Henderson Road Refuse Transfer Station

The Henderson Road Refuse Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas day (25th December) and New Years day (1st January). The opening hours for the public holidays that fall on the 26th & 27th December and the 2nd & 3rd of January are from 9:45am to 4:30pm.

Customers are reminded that outside of the Christmas and New Year holidays mentioned above, the normal Monday to Saturday opening hours are 7:45am to 4:30pm and the Sunday opening hours are 9:45am to 4:30pm.

Blackbridge Refuse Transfer Station – (privately managed and operated)

The Blackbridge Refuse Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas day (25th December), Boxing Day (26th December), New Years day (1st January) and the day after New Year’s Day (2nd January).

Customers are reminded that outside of the Christmas and New Year holidays mentioned above, the normal opening hours for Blackbridge are Mondays 7:30am to 5pm and Saturdays & Sundays 9am to 5pm. The station does not open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
