There is an exciting new detective challenge at Rotorua Museum these school holidays.

Crack the Code tests children’s investigative skills as they follow clues throughout the Museum and try to work out the combination to a mystery safe.

The story goes that while clearing out an old storage room, Rotorua Museum staff uncovered a very dusty safe. After giving it a good clean, they now face the challenge of working out how the safe opens.

Luckily, they also stumbled upon some strange clues that could conceal the secret pin number for the safe.

So put on your detective hat and head to Rotorua Museum. Collect a copy of the clues and see if you can work out the secret combination.

It’s free to enter and all successful detectives will go in the draw to win some great prizes!
Bring the whole family.

Crack the Code is happening from Monday 19 December to Sunday 29 January.

Free entry for Rotorua residents (usual admission fees apply for non-residents).
