Rock the Lake concert transferred

Rotorua's 'Rock the Lake' New Year's Eve concert has been transferred from the Lakefront to the Energy Events Centre because of today's weather conditions.

The concert starts at 6pm but as capacity is limited people are advised to arrive in plenty of time to secure a seat. Admission is free but the venue is alcohol-free and intoxicated people will be refused admission.

All the scheduled stars, including the cast of Nothing Trivial, will be performing. The concert will finish at approximately 11.30pm to give people time to watch the midnight fireworks display outside. The fireworks display is subject to weather conditions at the time.
