“We produced the wine in response to customer’s asking for a New Zealand Muscato. We had Italian and Australian, but wanted to offer them a NZ-version. We use Muscato and other varieties in Eden Sparkling,” says Morgan McCann, merchandise and marketing manager for LK.

The origins of Eden Sparkling lie in the vineyards of Gisborne, where the region’s rugged, raw beauty produce some of the best grapes in the country.

Using only the best grapes, Eden Sparkling is expertly blended to create an intense floral, citrus and strawberry aroma. The fruity aroma is matched by a palate of sensational flavours that show purity and freshness with a mix of natural acidity and sweetness.

Lower in alcohol at 7.5% ABV, Eden Sparkling is perfect for summer brunches, lazy Sunday afternoons or while enjoying a barbeque with friends.

In a move that is being becoming increasingly popular with sparkling wine makers worldwide, Eden Sparkling is fitted with a new innovative re-sealable top that stops the bottle from going flat once it is opened.

Safe and easy to use, the top, called the ‘Zork’, completely reseals the bottle and keeps the wine’s fizz for up to 10 days. And don’t worry – the delightful ‘pop’ a bottle of sparkling makes when opened to mark the beginning of a celebration is still there.
