Are you involved in a community arts project, festival, and performance or running workshops?
If so, Creative Communities New Zealand and the Napier City Council invites you to apply for funding in its March 2012 funding round. Applications opened on Thursday, 9 February, and close on Friday, 24 February.
Creative Communities Napier Committee chair, Councillor Maxine Boag, urged organisations or individuals involved with arts-focused activities to download the information on the website, and see if their planned activities meet the criteria.
"Last year, we provided some funds for a photographic exhibition, a secondary schools' Pacific festival, and an art workshop for children, to mention a few. We are keen to attract a wide range of applications," she said.

Information and application forms are also available from the Napier or Taradale Public Libraries, Creative Napier (Community House, Raffles Street Napier, phone 835 9448) or contact the Scheme Administrator, Belinda McLeod, Community Development Department, Napier City Council (phone 834 4114, email belindam@napier.co.nz)
Applications are open as from 9th February 2012 and close at 5pm on Friday 24th February 2012.
No late applications will be considered.
