Press Release by Impact PR: A winter holiday jammed packed with skiing, snowboarding, fine food and even a spot of pampering is now just one, easy-to-use pass away.

Eight of the country’s top ski fields have joined forces to create OnePassNZ – an initiative which provides visitors access to a massive 2230 hectares of lift-serviced terrain in the central South Island and everything else you could possibly need for the most memorable winter holiday!

OnePassNZ has been created by independent ski field operators at Cardrona Alpine Resort, Treble cone, Snowpark, Snowfarm, Ohau, Mt Dobson, Roundhill and the Porters Ski Area.

An interchangeable pass that gives skiers and snowboarders access to the partner ski areas, the pass has been designed with fun and flexibility in mind.

OnePassNZ holders simply load up their card with snow dollars to gain unlimited access to lifts at the participating ski fields, plus they can use it to rent ski gear and pay for skiing and snowboarding lessons.

And after an action-packed day on the slopes, OnePassNZ can then be used to buy dinner at restaurants in the surrounding areas, for unwinding at the spa, or taking in some more action at a raft of other local tourist attractions.

Treble Cone Marketing Manager Nigel Kerr says OnePassNZ is the only thing tourists need for a fun-filled, action-packed holiday.

“OnePassNZ gives consumers ultimate flexibility and freedom of choice, and means they don’t have to plan their holiday in minute detail before they leave home.”

“We all know that you can never predict the weather, and OnePassNZ means that you’re not tied to one spot, making it the ideal solution if the weather has closed in at one mountain and you want to move elsewhere where the conditions are ideal,” says Mr Kerr.

It also means that people can budget for their holidays better by loading up their OnePassNZ prior to setting off.

“The pass represents true value for money,” says Mr Kerr. “If people head out for a day’s skiing and don’t use the entire value of a day pass, they get the change loaded onto their pass to use another day or elsewhere – right to the last dollar!”

OnePassNZ gives visitors access to the best skiing and snowboarding the South Island has to offer, including the longest runs in the South Island at over 4kms, the only two permanent superpipes in New Zealand and the most comprehensive children’s programmes and facilities.
