Aston Martin Drops Pricing Across the Model Range

Independent Prestige, New Zealand's Aston Martin agent, has announced price reductions across the 15  car  model range to reflect recent movement in  the foreign  exchange rate. The price announcement comes on the back of a strong 2011 sales performance where 'New Aston Martin Registrations' were up 20% from 2010.  On what was a relatively flat high luxury market segment in 2011, Aston Martin increased its market share here in New Zealand, taking the International Dealer Honour for the highest percentage market segment penetration.

One of the most popular models,  the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, will  for the first time  be available at under $200,000 and now competes at a price level it never has before. The latest model includes further enhancements for 2012, making it even better value.

“The price alignment is great news and a real milestone for Aston Martin in New Zealand. The fact that we‟re now able to offer a new Aston Martin at under $200,000 is something special in the New Zealand market,” commented Greg Brinck, General Manager for Independent Prestige. “We took a similar approach when the new 4-door Aston Martin Rapide was launched here at the end of 2010. The foreign exchange rate at the time allowed us to offer the car at an initial price point in the market that was very competitive, and this  contributed to  the Aston Martin  Rapide leading this market segment for the last two years.”

Additionally Brinck remarked, “with Aston Martin voted 'the Coolest Brand' in the international brand awards in the UK last year, it is now more affordable than ever to drive the car that James Bond drives.”
