BLACKCAPS win the toss and bowl

The BLACKCAPS have won the toss and elected to bowl in the first Test of The National Bank Series against South Africa at University Oval in Dunedin.

Rob Nicol will become BLACKCAP number 254 and Kruger van Wyk will be BLACKCAP number 255 with Andrew Ellis named 12th man.

Poor weather delayed the start of play with the toss taking place at 1.45pm and play scheduled to get underway at 2.15pm. The first session will go through to 4.10pm while the second session will be 4.30-6.30pm with an option to extend play by 30 minutes.
